Back to school is just around the corner and teachers are getting ready to decorate their classrooms. It's no secret that classroom supplies can be pretty pricey, which is why retailers like Target and Staples is offering teachers discounts for a limited time as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
Target's back-to-school teacher discount is back for the fourth year in a row where teachers can get 15% off select classroom supplies and essentials in-store and online Sunday through July 31st. The discount is for "K-12 teachers, homeschool teachers, teachers working at daycare centers and early childhood learning centers, university or college professors and vocational/trade/technical school teachers." In order to take advantage of this deal, teachers need to verify their eligibility through the Target Circle loyalty program. Teachers can sign up now at Target.com/circle/teacher and you can find products eligible for the discount here. Exclusions apply and the discount can't be used on backpacks, clearance, electronics, lunch bags, items sold and shipped by Target+ Partners and more.
Dollar General is offering a new teacher discount with 30% off qualifying, in-store purchases of back-to-school and stationery items through September 6th. Qualifying items include pens, pencils, markers, crayons, paper, notebooks, scissors, binders, folders, glue, rulers, backpacks and lunch kits, according to the promotion's fine print. Teachers need to sign in or create a Dollar General account and then can register and complete the educator verification process at DollarGeneral.com.
