Whenever you get migraines, it's the worst feeling so you might take Excedrin to get some instant relief. Well two of the brand's most popular products Excedrin Extra Strength and Excedrin Migraine have been temporarily discontinued. The company said in a statement,
"Through routine quality control and assurance measures, we discovered inconsistencies in how we transfer and weigh ingredients for Excedrin Extra Strength Caplets and Geltabs and Excedrin Migraine Caplets and Geltabs. We are working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, but at this point in time cannot confirm a definite date as to when supply will resume.”
While they don't believe their medication has any safety risk, they are voluntarily halting these products as a precaution. The two products have been removed from store shelves and you can still buy other Excedrin products.
