JONBENET RAMSEY: Could the Killer be ID'd With DNA?

Could newer DNA-testing technology solve the JonBenet Ramsey murder.

28 years after the six-year-old's death, her father John Ramsey says that Boulder, Colorado police refuse to give it a try. He tells People, "There are cutting-edge DNA labs that want to help and who believe they can move the case forward... The chief of police is in charge. Nobody can come in and help him with solving a crime unless he asks for help."

He's opening up ahead of the Netflix docuseries Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey?, which starts streaming on Monday. But two people who won't be part of it are the couple who now own the house were JonBenet was killed -- Carol and Timothy Milner. They've turned down multiple offers over the years to film in their home, but Carol tells TMZ, "We want nothing to do with the exploitation of that poor family."

The six-year-old pageant queen was killed on December 26th, 1996. Her murder captivated the nation but has never been solved.
