You Can Improve Your Physical And Mental Health With "Nature Prescriptions"

Many studies have shown that spending time in nature, particularly around trees, will improve your mental and physical health.

Spending time in nature helps your mood and blood pressure and can be viewed as a "prescription" like a doctor would prescribe.

“This study is built upon a long-term program of research that we are doing, where we show contact with nature—and trees especially—is really good for strengthening mental and physical health across our lives,” said Professor Xiaoqi Feng from UNSW Medicine & Health.
