Tate McRae may be the superstar performer, but Dakota Johnson is the one singing her praises.
The Fifty Shades of Grey actress heaped compliments on the "Greedy" singer, penning a heartfelt essay for her friend as the 22 year old is set to grace one of three covers of the 2025 TIME100 Next issue, per People.
"I've witnessed her quiet confidence, and how genuinely present she is," she wrote, in part, for the issue. "I've watched her listen closely to the world around her and truly absorb moments that inspire her. I've seen her brain working and her soul expanding. She is tender and deeply kind."
In addition to being honored on the TIME100 Next 2025 issue, McRae is set to perform at the TIME100 Next even in New York City on October 30.
McRae, who is currently traveling around the country for her Miss Possessive Tour, recently wowed the crowd at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Festival. She turned up the heat and put on a show for the Las Vegas crowd throughout her fiery set, even enchanting the audience with a performance of the song that "changed [her] life."
