SITTING IS BAD, but you knew that

If you sit a lot at work you aren’t alone, a lot of us do because of our desk jobs. Here’s something scary, research in the UK is saying that almost 70K deaths could have been avoided if people were moving more. This is a UK study but I’m sure it has some truth for those of us in the states. They say 1/3 of people are sedentary for at least 6 waking hours a day. This is unhealthy AND it’s expensive, costing the healthcare system around 557 MILLION dollars for cardiovascular diseases and another 370 million for diabetes.
