I don’t think most of us in central iowa realize how good we have it until you look at pictures of rain and flooding causing major issues for our friends in Western Iowa.So far, 2 deaths have been blamed on flooding and 2 people have been missing for days and it looks like another chance of rain could be on the way. The video of the HyVee trucks rolling into Freemont is pretty awesome… Even Offutt air force base by Omaha is struggling with water issues and is open to essential personnel only. The photos that keep coming out are incredibly sad, maybe partially because many of us in central Iowa have been through our share of flooding. Check out photos and the story HERE and HERE!
