Iowa is worth so much more than our corn and beans. Apparently work is underway to take electricity from our wind turbines around the state and push it to the east. The power lines will be buried along land currently occupied by railroad tracks. This is a joint investment from Siemens AG and a Danish investment fund to build the 350 mile long extension cord.
