Is Zac Efron dating an Olympic athlete?
According to E! News, the actor is reportedly looking to make a love connection with professional swimmer Sarah Bro. Of course, this is purely speculative, as the Greatest Showman star and the Danish athlete have yet to go social media official — but, albeit a case of happenstance, both Efron and Bro have been spotted at the same events on more than one occasion.
The 23-year-old Denmark native swam in the women's 4 x 100 metre freestyle relay event at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Per their respective social media posts, the alleged couple was in attendance at the hockey match between the Los Angeles Kings and Dallas Stars last week. "Thank you @lakings for making my first hockey game something very special," Bro wrote with an image of herself sporting custom gear for the game, while the 31-year-old Disney alum snapped a selfie of him wearing his team's hat.
Also, Bro follows Efron on Instagram — though he's yet to return the gesture.
Purely coincidental? Perhaps, but maybe not, because the duo was actually pictured sitting together at the UFC 235 fight in Las Vegas just days later.
An onlooker told E! the pair, who "looked like they were having a great time… smiling and laughing in their seats," supposedly arrived and left the event together.
"Zac was approached by multiple fans and Sarah was very patient as Zac spoke to everyone who approached him," the source continued, adding the two weren't "overly publicly affectionate" or "doing anything to attract any additional attention."
In the past, Efron has dated High School Musical castmate Vanessa Hudgens and was once linked to Baywatch co-star Alexandra Daddario.
