I’m picking on Target because this story came out about them but it probably happens at other retailers as well. Apparently their app would increase prices of items whenever users approached a store. In a totally non scientific test, 10 items were chosen and 4 items jumped in price when they walked into stores. A car seat for example jumped $72 dollars.
