HOW MUCH SUGAR IS TOO MUCH

If you have pre-teens around the house that are getting a bit pudgy it’s not all Fortnights fault. A new study shows that the average 10 year old has consumed as much sugar in their lifetime as the recommended limit for an 18 year old. Most children have consumed the equivalent of 8 sugar cubes a day and the suggested consumption is 5 or 6 cubes. Right now 1/3 of children are overweight by the age of 10 and 4.2 percent are obese in year 6 at school. Check out the story HERE!
