Chinese weddings are expensive too

Getting married, last week I talked about how having a more budget friendly wedding is showing more long term success than extravagant weddings. The Chinese must understand this because now the authorities are trying to put an end to the countries increasingly extravagant wedding culture because it goes against their core values. Rural families have been setting massive “BRIDE PRICES”…money they get from the grooms parents. Some have reached 30K which is around 10x the yearly wage.
