Life changes cause us to be interested in things we wouldn’t have in the past. Last year at this time I was home, on the couch recovering from surgery to remove a tumor….that ended up being malignant. Thankfully what was removed lined up very well with an effective Cancer drug that is very expensive. I saw an article today about the FDA approving a drug that should work on a broad range of cancers based on a shared mutation rather than tumor locations. Hopefully this will give hope to patients that can’t be operated on successfully. That’s the good news, here’s the bad. The drug will cost almost 33K a month. The positive, every time the brilliant scientists can knock down one cancer it will let them focus on another one and hopefully, we can get rid of this terrible disease. Check out the story HERE!
