DRINKING DEATHS

Americans love their alcohol and it’s turning into a problem for officials that want to reduce alcohol abuse and deaths. With smoking it was easier to ban smoking in public by raising taxes on cigarettes. People aren’t on board with the same options to reduce alcohol deaths which are up at least 35 percent since 2000. A 10 percent increase in taxes leads to a 5 to 8 percent decline in drinking. Full story HERE!
