Are you ready to ride with no driver? Waymo’s paid driver less taxi service could launch next month. The first place you’ll be able to try the taxi out is in Phoenix. Sounds like some of the cars will have a “BACKUP DRIVER” to make sure the transition is un-eventful. If all goes well, they will roll the Taxies out in other places in the near future.
