Self driving cars are getting closer every day but there’s a moral question that MIT is tackling right now, if there’s an unavoidable accident with a loss of life is it ok if the car terminates an elderly person instead of a young person. Research in 233 countries has found that people prefer to save human lives over animals but different countries view who’s expendable differently.
