We love to be in control don’t we…buttons to close elevators, light up crosswalks and thermostats that don’t control the temps. Sadly, the world is full of buttons that don’t do anything. In New York, 100 of the 1000 crosswalk buttons work….the rest, not so much. Why do they exist? If gives us a feeling of control.
