That rain was quite the surprise on Saturday night and everyone has pix of how bad it was. You probably saw video of the hotel on Merle Hay Road, nuts. We went to best buy to buy computer parts and almost didn't make it back to Grimes. Of course now we're dealing with HIGH WATER – SAYLORVILLE IS SUPER HIGH AGAIN. High water in 1993 was 892 feet, right now it’s 888 and I would assume there will be more coming from NW Iowa. If you have plans to enjoy Saylorville (if you can find an open boat ramp) this week there’s a LOT of debris out there. Check out some of the pix i snapped on the way in this morning.
