Hopefully this isn’t a sign of things to come for gamer's nationwide. In Illinois starting next week there will be an “AMUSEMENT” tax on all digital purchases through the play station network. This will affect PSP Subscriptions, the streaming service, music, video on demand and their live events. This isn’t a new tax but has been implemented more and more but it is a bit painful at 9%.
