As we look for more ways to get power from things we are using Portland has come up with something amazing, they are installing turbines into their water lines that will produce power as the water flows from the plant to your tap. It’s expected to generate 2 Million dollars worth of renewable energy and power up to 150 homes. I’m curious how long this tech will work before needing repair or replaced but it’s an awesome idea.
