Australia is working on an experiment that wipes out over 80% of disease carrying mosquito's. Basically the created sterile males that bred with the wild females. The eggs didn’t hatch and the population crashed. While I welcome this to make evenings more enjoyable in Iowa I also wonder what or how it’ll affect the ecosystem.
