Utah employees to fill prescriptions in Mexico

In this day and age of out of control medical prices one state is looking at doing something radical. Utah is planning on sending state employees to Mexico to pick up their medication. Think about this, it’s cheaper to buy an airline tickets and give their insured $500 cash-back incentive than paying for the medicine locally. The average price of the medicines in the program are about $13500 for 3 month supply in the US where the expected cost in Mexico is around $6000. Most of the drugs are for MS or Arthritis. I’m on a high dollar medicine, would I travel to save. I think I would. Check out the story HERE!
