National Park Rescues last year

If you are traveling to a national park this year, don’t do anything stupid. Stay on the path and follow the rules. Why, that’s no fun… I get it. Search and rescue in America’s national parks consumed 71000 hours and cost tax payers more than $3 Million dollars last year. I love national parks, my family has been to Yellowstone a couple of times and others. I think our total is 14 to date. If you haven’t enjoyed one yet, put Yellowstone on your list. By the way, men in their 20’s were more likely to need help than women. Last year 159 fatalities were reported with the Grand Canyon leading the way.  Full story HERE!
