Big news out of Florida today, a pedestrian bridge collapsed in Miami killing several people. The bridge wasn’t even open yet but was supposed to withstand hurricane-force winds. It was built elsewhere and put in place this past weekend. It’s things like this that freak you out because the design of the bridge is to keep people safe from traffic.
