Shrinking food and other things

One of the tricks of manufacturers to make you think you are still getting the same amount of product is to give you smaller portions instead of raising the prices. On Reddit there’s a great conversation of foods that have changed and it starts off by saying that the cheesecake factory is giving smaller slices. Other mentions include food at McDonalds, Cereal boxes that are thinner, in some places 2 liters of soda are now 1.75. Cadbury Eggs are also on the list.
